EXTRA SERVICE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST

A typical Tuscan meal. On your first evening after a long trip, we would be happy to provide a typical Tuscan meal waiting for you in your house, ready to be served with a bottle of wine and a small complimentary bottle of La Foce extra virgin olive oil for your salad. The meal includes a starter, a pasta-dish, salad and pecorino cheese, fruit or fruit salad with cantucci (local almond biscuits) to finish, plus bread and a bottle of wine every 3 people.

First shopping. You will find basics such as salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, sugar, soap, toilet paper in the house. Upon your request we can also provide a first shopping, including the following items: bread, milk, Earl Grey tea, coffee, natural yoghurt, orange juice, eggs, dishwasher detergent, mineral water, butter, fruit, jam, pasta (spaghetti), tomato sauce, fresh parmesan cheese, salad and tomatoes, beer.

An extra double room with bathroom is available at Chiarentana at Euro 85 per night.

Cleaning. Upon request a cleaning lady is available from daily to once a week.

Meals. If you wish to have lunch or dinner prepared at any time during your stay, our cook will come to your house. We have a variety of typically Tuscan seasonal dishes from which you can choose.

Extra set of towels. Fresh bath towels will be provided mid-week, included in the rent. You can request further towels at an extra cost.

Fax. Our guests can send and receive faxes in the office of the estate. The number is +39 0578 69113.

Baby cot. A baby cot is available in every house upon request at no extra charge. Linen is provided.

Laundry. All houses either have access to a washing machine or have their own. We can arrange for your washing and ironing to be done for you at a small extra cost.

Rates policy

Rates are in Euros per week and include electricity, water, bi-weekly change of towels, final cleaning.

Extra charges: telephone, wood for fireplaces, central heating.

Payment. 50% of the rent is to be paid at the moment of booking. The remaining 50% may be paid upon your arrival at La Foce.

Security deposit. Upon arrival we ask our guests to leave a check of Euro 300 (for smaller houses) or Euro 600 (for larger houses), as security deposit for any damage or breakage which may occur during your stay. The check will be returned at your departure, if there has been no damage.

Number of beds. We cannot allow the number of guests staying in a house to be higher than the number of beds initially stated.

Cancellation by the client. In case of cancellation, we will withhold the following:

-10% of the total rent for a cancellation up to 4 months (120 days) before the date of arrival

- 50% up to 2 months (60 days) before the date of arrival

- 100% as from the 59th day before the date of arrival.

Should we manage to rent the house partly or fully for the cancelled period, we will of course refund the client accordingly.
