A variety of services are provided at La Foce, to make your stay more enjoyable. You will find:

• herbal toiletries and hair dryers in the bathrooms
• free internet service and a cell-phone in the office
• change of bath and pool towels that are changed twice a week
• basic grocery items, a complimentary bottle of wine and of home-grown olive oil in the kitchen
• information on local restaurants, shops, health and sports resources
• a map of local hikes and walks.

ACTIVITIES

• All the La Foce houses have pools.
• A tennis court, a playground for the smaller children and a trampoline are at Chiarentana, for all guests’ use.
• There are beautiful walks, both up into the oak and beech woods, and down into the crete senesi, the unique clay hillocks that characterize the Val d’Orcia landscape.
• In late July an outstanding chamber music festival, Incontri in Terra di Siena, is held at the Castelluccio.
• Benedetta Isidori can advise you on restaurants, shopping, and sight-seeing excursions. Some of the most beautiful Renaissance, Romanesque, Medieval and Etruscan sites are close by, and in summer digs for an Etruscan necropolis are ongoing in the field next to the La Foce villa.
