Description
The restoration of this house was completed recently and great care was taken to keep the original atmosphere intact.
Old terracotta floors were saved whenever possible, and all the ceilings show their original oak beams.
The house is spread over several levels, with steps leading up and down from one room to another. Light flows in from every window, either from the garden or the ‘piazzale’ (square) in front. All ground floor rooms open out into the garden, which has a table and chairs for meals.
The pool is at the end of the garden.

More about Belvedere
The name of the house means "beautiful view" – a well-earned name, as the Orcia valley and the Amiata mountain are spread out below. It is divided into two adjacent houses, Belvedere Piccolo and Belvedere Grande, sharing the swimming pool but each looking out onto its own garden and outside dining space.
Belvedere is surrounded by fields and woods. The houses face a beautiful XVth century Granary and vines and roses climb up the walls, while lavender and rosemary fill the rooms with their scent. Beautifully maintained gardens are reached directly through the two houses, and at the far end lies a lovely pool with sunbeds and deckchairs. The overall atmosphere is one of rustic charm and comfort.
Services included
Complimentary WI-FI connection, CD-stereo, TV, dishwasher, washing machine (shared with Belvedere Piccolo), bi-weekly change of bath linen. Maid available upon request.
